    Fun & Easy 4th of July Crafts

    Happy 4th of July! Independence Day has always been one of my favorite holidays. My hometown puts on one of the most fabulous fireworks displays ever. Plus, the summer weather this time of year in Michigan is just perfect. We usually head up north to the lake and spend lots of lazy days hanging out on the water. Lots of sun, fun, and memories made!     Rainbow Thank You Card

    This is one of my favorite projects. It makes a big impact and takes time to complete, but the rainbow design is easy to master. That said, it requires a lost art that kids might need a little help with: writing in cursive. Without cursive, this kind of design doesn’t work. To help get you started, I have a free printable for you! Just print out the card on white cardstock, gather some markers in rainbow colors, and you’ll be ready to go.     US Flag Craft

    Make a Patriotic US Flag Craft! Using simple supplies, your little crafter will enjoy making this cute hanging American flag to display at home.  This is an easy craft with little mess.  My six-year-old was able to create it with just a little help. This craft is perfect for Flag Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, or any day you are feeling patriotic.
