This is one of my favorite projects. It makes a big impact and takes time to complete, but the rainbow design is easy to master. That said, it requires a lost art that kids might need a little help with: writing in cursive. Without cursive, this kind of design doesn’t work.
To help get you started, I have a free printable for you! Just print out the card on white cardstock, gather some markers in rainbow colors, and you’ll be ready to go. Get your printable here:

I love how simple yet meaningful this craft is. Does your kiddo have a special person in their life who would love to receive this card? Perhaps a healthcare worker, a teacher, a grandparent, or a friend? Someone who could use a pick-me-up or simple act of kindess?
If “Thanks” doesn’t seem like the right sentiment, you can make it your own! This design can work with any word written in cursive. Perhaps “Love”, “Hope”, or a simple “Hello” would work better? Maybe even a first name?
How will you customize this Rainbow Card? Let me know on Facebook and please share a photo of your kiddo’s creation. Happy Crafting!
